This Wasn't In The Manual

I'm finding that I have to learn all of the characters in Cars 2 so I can keep up with my toddler and his growing collection of toy cars. There wasn't anything in the toddler-raising manual about having to memorize such stuff.

  • Some of the best parts about watching Disney and Pixar with a toddler is the innuendo that is slipped in for adults...the double entendre' and the references that they will never get (at least not until the get older) - there is a lot of it in Warner Brothers cartoons as well...
One of my favorites was Lord Farquaad in the Shrek films - my sister didn't get that - I had to explain it to her...it went right over her head

Just wait...a few months later, he will be in love with a completely different movie and set of toys and you'll have to memorize names all over again lol.

Gee, it all depends on how close you want to be to that stuff. It comes in stages too. This stage MIGHT last until like 7. Of course, there will be different things throughout.

But it's all such useful stuff to know. It will keep you from getting senile before you get to ship him off to college.
