I just brought a brand new computer from the store...

Plugged everything in, hit the power button...computer boots I hear it work I hear the fan and everything...but the screen says no signal, monitor going to sleep...

I know it is not my screen since it works on my laptop, the one I am using right now to type this...

Called the store but it is closed lol

Anyone has a clue what is going on and what I should do ?

    reattach the monitor.
If that doesn't work you may have a bad video card/chip in the computer,or you may have it connected to the wrong input.

I guess I will call the store tomorrow and have them fix it...lot of forums and videos on the web says it is usually the ram not well plugged in, but I don't want to touch it cause then they could blame it on me...

Tried with both VGA and DVI cables...neither worked...there is something wrong with what they sold me for sure...

My new (now old) PC didn't work with HDMI.

I just used the DVI option instead.

It just cost me the ability to have dual screen but I haven't found a true need to do that yet beyond trying to look cool.

Not that that helps you. I wouldn't go fingering around inside your case though. You'll probably void the warranty just by taking off the cover. I assume it's got a tamper proof sticker over it..

No chance for me to go play with that haha I have NO clue what is what in there...and although there are no stickers, this could indeed void the warranty...I will just call tomorrow...

I was just pissed that I had this brand new mega power gaming machine in my hands and I could not use it...needed to share my pain lol

This could be caused by plugging the monitor in the wrong port, or a loose connection, or poorly seated board. If you are SO alarmist, and feel you must come HERE, just return it.
