My daughter goes to preschool and caught a cold again. She now has passed it on my my 1 year old son, my oldest daughter and me. I swear the parents at her school don't know how to keep their sick kids home...

    Hi, Stefani,
Hope you and the kids are better now. Am a mom of two girls too, and I still panic every time they get sick so I know how you feel. Anyways, water therapy is still the best. Get everybody to drink lots of water and fruit juices. Works all the time.

It never seems to fail that my girls get a slight cold but feel better the next day, meanwhile, I'll be sick for weeks and can't get rid of it. I've still got some lingering effects of the last cold they brought home. Argh!

Hope you all feel better soon.

I know how you feel. It seems that kids are always either coming down with something, are sick, or are just getting over something. And then I get sick and it starts all over again.

Haha...take 'em to a hospital, and let them roll around on the floor or something. They'll pick up so many immunities that they'll have immune systems of STEEL.

We're a family of teachers, so we're exposed to everything all the time, and we never get sick.

    With 3 kids (7, 11, 14) I know where you're coming from.

When I started giving them a little vitamin c every day that really helped.

But this winter I read (Dr. Mercola) that Vitamin D3 deficiency is almost an epidemic. Within days of supplementing with D3, I could tell a difference. This has been the best winter ever. Even when the kids came down with something they bounced back in, like, 24 hours.

    Good luck to all.

I take a good brand of multi-vitamin and Bayer low dose every day. All
my friends take tons of pills for every ailment they see on TV. I don't
believe in any of that crap. Just had a checkup and my Doctor says I'm

When you hear someone telling you what YOU can't do, they are usually talking about what THEY can't do.
