*pointless rant below, NO offense intended, just a bit of fun*

Today I was driving and saw this a large colourful complex on the side of the road, I was kind of intrigued trying to figure what kind of business it was while still keeping an eye on the road ahead.

The words "Pet Cafe" appear and all my dreams and hopes of something new and exciting where vanished.

I never even knew such places existed but I believe it was built this year.

Now who in the hell would waste their time going pet shopping and bringing their pet along with them?

LOL better yet, why do they need to drink coffee while they're there?

What do you do with your pets while you have your coffee? Is there some sort of pet playground they are kept while you drink your much needed coffee? Grhh don't even tell me, or I'm going to lose it.

Can't think of a more pointless business idea and don't get me wrong at least they're making money, but the actual people who visit these places and bring their pet along to go pet food/accessory shopping with their pet....oh there are no words to describe my feelings right now.

Who knows what else goes on in these places. Please don't tell me there are pet spas, people who massage your pets and god know what other "fun activites" goes on.....please don't haha.

No offense but come on....it's ridiculous and surely you have more important things to do than try and act like some celebrity bringing your precious pet to these places while sipping on coffee.

Go look after your children instead!

Anyone see my point or am I alone in this thinking. I know there is at least one other person who agrees (my friend in the car). That's why we are good friends....because we think alike

PS: Yes I have issues, you don't need to remind me

Hmmmm, l will only say that they apparently make pet friendly coffees, or something like that?

And a Psychiatrist business next door would probably make a fortune!!!

As long as they had a shrink for pets as well!!!

Although a gun shop next door would probably be a good idea; it would give the next loonie with a gun fetish something constructive to let loose on, although the pets should be spared!

Your issue seems to be condemning anything other people do that you personally don't like doing. So far, doesn't seem to be much you do like.

Why would it involve your feelings - when it's not something you have to do or are expected to do?

If they are making money - I don't think it's a pointless idea at all.

The luxury pet industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and one of the few where sales are continuing to increase.

From a societal standpoint, it's better for society than spending one's money on hookers and blow.

Agreed - you said it. :p

I do, and my dog goes everywhere with me. I actually spend more on her than myself.

There is a place in New York that serves champagne.
