Okay, I'm stumped, so I need my music expert buddies to help me out.

My friend peanut head (guy who knows more about music than I do) played me
this song over the phone. It's something he recorded from one of his records
in 1985 but doesn't remember who it was. The title of this thread appears to be
the main line in the song or at least one of them.

The song starts off with a picked guitar intro. I couldn't make much out of it
because the recording over the phone was lousy.

Any of you music geniuses know any songs with that line in it?

    That title sort of rings a bell. Can't place it though. What style of music is it? The song I can't think of would probably be in the folk rock or soft rock genre. Can't you give us a little more to go on? Every little bit helps -- you never know what might trigger a memory.

      Actually,thats the same for me. Its like its sitting in the back of my mind but can't quite grab it,which is why I had not posted at all here til now.
      Somehow I think our collective musical braintrust will get it eventually though.

    I found that song too but decided it wasnt THE song he was looking for,but you are right,I enjoyed listening to it.
