Another Reason I Love My Toddler

My 2-year-old son gets so spooked by the mannequins in clothing stores, especially the headless ones, and throws such fearful tantrums at seeing them that my accompanying my wife on her interminable clothing and accessories shopping trips is out of the question. Thank you, son!

Let's build Lego, lets play with toy trains. Anything but go to clothing stores, full of those spooky mannequins. He won't have to scream, "Scared of mannequins!" again.

I'm thinking that you secretly trained him to do that.

When my son was 2 or 3, my wife wondered why I always took him out with me. Duh! I never got that much attention from women on my own...it worked so well that it wasn't too long before we were banned from doing the 'guys out on the town' thing.

No, I'm not that strategic or devious, lol. He really is spooked by mannequins.

Women sure notice my toddler, but usually not me so much lol. Last week a group of young women were going "Aww!" at at my toddler as he walked beside me, with a cookie in his hand. He actually seems to instinctively bask in their affection, looking back at them, smiling, even tap-dancing for them (!) getting their applause. There is at least one woman (very pretty) who has behaved oddly flirtatious with me, though she saw that I'm obviously attached with a young son. I don't know what she's thinking, or why such a situation inspires that reaction in some women. Attraction to the unattainable? I've actually been making detours to avoid her.

Ain't that the truth. One of my sisters has way too many clothes. She has her closet stuffed full of clothes, and I don't mean hanging up in the closet. There just shoved in there from the floor to the ceiling.

Not only that, you can't even see the floor of her bedroom. The only thing you can see is her bed. And I surprised that is even visible. lol

Then she goes to goodwill and purchases more clothes.

Then if someone wants to give her some clothes, she won't turn them down. She'll say yes, I'll take them.

Seems like almost every week, there is someone dropping a bag or 3 of clothes/shoes off at her house.

She wanted to store some in my house, I flat out told her no. If you do. I'm gonna take them outside and set fire to them.
