That clip was on one of those police reality TV shows. It was a riot. There's one of a woman that goes just as ballistic, though she doesn't swear as much.

      Yeah, funny but disturbing!!!

And this was happening in 1992! Must be rife at the moment with utility costs going up, and wages getting watered down, (especially in the US).

Shoplifting and crime is dramatically on the increase, after 2008, since the environment, etc is more important than people trying to cope!

There, had my rant for the day, "but l have to admit it was funny".

    IM Headlines,

There ARE a number of different accents. I at least have heard that one before.

Believe it or not, I would have done TWO things differently!

    1. I would have asked for his license and registration.
    2. I don't believe he called for a wants and warrants. I would have.

The guy in the Red van was an IDIOT! You can be stopped for ANYTHING! The cost can be 0 to well over $1000. I believe the fine for littering in california was $5000 when I left. ALSO, the cop may have followed him or, being suspicious and having called for a W&W may have found he parked in a handicapped spot. That could cost over $300. Last I knew, a speeding ticket was some relatively small amount plus like $5 for every mile over the speed limit. But that was LONG ago, and in CA. If the driver of the truck had relaxed, he could have gotten off with a warning. As it was, he could have had a $10,000 ticket, and been thrown in jail for MONTHS, possibly even years! I mean assaulting an officer, refusing to...., littering, having no registration, and WHO KNOWS what else!

Anyway, I have been in pretty much the same deal, staring down at a guy yelling at me while I should have been yelling at him. I actually felt like hitting him. What did I do? I acted like I wasn't there. It was like he was a TV screen. If he hit me, I would have reacted, but I didn't say a word or change my expression in any way. That lasted for several minutes. If I had done ANYTHING different, he would have thought less of me or there eenad have been a fight.

      Haha!

I think the officer handled that magnificently! I wonder if inside, he was rolling his eyes or cracking up as the man in the red van started screaming like a girl.

      @ Kurt,

I loved it! I've been pulled over 7 times and have never received a ticket, but I've never been so bubble headed as to say that.

I loved the officer's response, though.

I remember seeing that a few years ago. It never gets old. It's hilarious.

This video was filmed when I was 4 years old. Can't believe this video was filmed that long ago. lol

Why would you say THAT? The officer seemed like a nice well adjusted guy.

You could NOT mean the jerk yelling, etc... talking about how he was breaking the law, and got all the people to do stuff for him that HE should be doing, etc... that jostled the officer, etc.... He literally ASKED to be locked up! He is LUCKY that the officer didn't comply.

  • Another thing I notice is they don't seem like they are pulled off the road far enough. Those passing cars are close!

Awe. No kidding - a cop that doesn't beat the shit out of someone or tase them to death if they are acting like assholes, yet not actually dangerous, is now NEWS? Think about that one for awhile.

If anyone not guilty of an extreme felony, such as murder, deserves it, it probably IS this guy.

I was once told that I could be shot for slowly getting out of my car, when the cops weren't that close.

I have no idea how much those state troopers get paid but I'm sure it's not enough!

I have a nephew-in-law who is a city cop. He always bothers me a bit because he never expresses any emotion. His facial features are like they're frozen in stone. Now I understand why.
