I work in the comics field and just wanted to know how many IMers are still comic book fans.

I haven't touched a comic in quite a while, but I've been very much enjoying what Marvel has been doing on the big screen.

Never liked Iron Man in the comics... loved the movie (the first one more than the second)

Never particularly thought Thor fit in the Marvel pantheon, but enjoyed the movie.

Never followed the Avengers, but the tought the movie was a lot of fun.

Hulks "interaction" with Loki is my new "go to" thought when I need a smile!

Much of my youth was spent on Spider-Man, Wolverine, and various other Marvel titles. I think the last comic I picked up was an indie called Preacher.

I have an entire universe of characters in my head, but I haven't put them to paper in years. My wife keeps telling me I should write serials for Kindle, but I never get around to it.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

          Sure thing Dan.

I teach comics and I've pals who run the big comics and animation schools. We could trade off things. You'll have to read some basic books but once you do your mind will race with ideas. Then just hook up with people. Since you have web skills you might think about doing a web comic or something.

Intriguing. This is funny because my wife just brought up the topic earlier this week.

I love comic books. I have about 2,000 of them, mostly from the early 80s, a few from the 90s. I haven't really read anything past the late 1990s. I still haven't read all of my 2,000 comic books. lol

My favorite character is Wolverine. A close second is Dr. Strange. Not sure if I have a favorite villan. Dr. Doom is up there.

Rod, the man who created Wolverine is Len Wein. He's a big fellow and I worked with him on a few comics from the old Defiant Comics line.

Dr. Strange deserves a movie. It would be like the grown up Harry Potter on steroids!

DC all the way. Any one from the Superman series. This was many years ago. I also liked Archie and the gang. Anyone else want to admit that Betty and Veronica were hot?

      Hey Travlinguy!

I worked for DC and my pal Doug wrote the Batman series for years. Do you remember the "Legion of Super Heroes"?

Oh, yeah. I had a few of them. I also had a lot of Batman comics. I had a massive collection of Action and Superman along with lots of other assorted DC stuff. Most from the 60s, a few from the 50s. Wish I had 'em today.
