Website backup service - what's a good one?

I just had a large 1million+ post forum database crash yesterday. It took me 15 hours to get everything back in place. Main reason, the restore service my VPS uses is extremely slow, and I ended up having to try 2 different restores.

I came across some website back up services online, however not sure what's good out there. I have a Mac, so if the client resided on my computer it would need to be Mac compatible. If it's 100% in the cloud, that's fine too.

Thanks!

If you have cpanel, or a similar panel, THAT backup is nice! I believe phpmysqladmin has a nice backup. 1 million posts ALONE could take a while to restore. Just that MAIN table, if it ran at the fastest speed, and were small, could take 4 minutes. Realistically, it would probably take AT LEAST 8 times that. So that is over 30 minutes. For ONE table. If you are on a shared server, or underpowered, it could easily take several hours.

Anyway, if THAT is your problem, using another backup routine won't help.

I am on a VPS with plenty of resources. I'm just looking for an offsite backup solution in case my host's servers go down. I am trying out backupmachine.com right now, and will post back my results.
