They don't even think about how boys before puberty have higher voices, etc... ALSO, little girls, and middle aged women may be more interested in makeup. YIKES! THAT is due to low hormones! BTW young kids are sensitive to those hormones, and generally have a LOT! The early teens is probably when they are highest, relative to how sensitive they are. They then climb, but there is less sensitivity.
