New Members Can't PM

New members can't pm other members expect admin and mods..:rolleyes: Is this really helpful to stop PM Spams Or New members create Spam Posts.. Reply here..

BTW Don't Say it is a Spam Post..:p

    Having the 15 post requirement to PM does cut down on spam but it doesn't cut down on spam posts in other areas of the forum. Like all those one liners that add absolutely nothing of value to a post. For example: the majority of your posts. "I like google" doesn't contribute to anything.

      I also noticed you can't reply to the WSO section unless you have 30 posts? Bummer as I want to purchase some products but had questions. Don't really just want to go around posting useless info just to get my post count up.

        If you have a question about a WSO product hopefully the creator has entered an alternative way to contact them such as an email address. Worst case scenario, you post a message (say right here in off topic) and another member may be gracious enough to point the creator to your post.

      But that posts are in Chat. in "The Off Topic Forum" posts doesn't count.:rolleyes: Correct me if I m wrong.

    Yes, it's very tough for new members, I do not understand that 30 posts requirement for WSO offers tough.

    I have a hard time with people that complain about things like this,and also do it in this forum. What are you posting about? Are you trying to get it changed? If so, then you might want to contact the helpdesk.
    If you are trying to get your post count up, how about makising some useful posts in one of the topics forums above us?

      I m not complaining. Want to know your opinion. Will new users create spam posts so that they will be able to PM.

      I have 25 posts. and in this section Posts count will not increases.. You can't say I m increasing my post count by creating this thread..:rolleyes:
