In the past, I've wanted to study space technology soo bad! Just the thought of working with satellites and such things makes me horny in a geeky way!

But the problem is that if I want to study space technology, I have to go on high-school again because it's a completely separate line I have to study on high-school in order to study space technology..

Well, I'm 21 now, 22 in the summer. So I feel a bit old for high-school if you know what I mean.

But do you think It's worth for me to go on high-school again and then study space technology? Or am I to old?

    Too old? Hell no.

Will others give you a hard time because you're older? Maybe, but does it matter?

    Seriously, does it?

WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!????? They actually cover different subjects in highschool for carreers and give you NO other option?

I do believe there are trade schools that cover parts of the technology, and there should be universities and colleges that do.

As for being too old? The oldest to go through the US highschool, as I recall was over 60 years old! The one I heard of hadn't gone through the first time for some reason and I think she simply wanted to. Then again, I THINK it was really a GED class. That is supposed to be relatively equivalent to a high school diploma.

No it isn't. I've researched it and there is only one high-school in whole Norway that offer that course.

And remember that I live in Norway so the system here is different from the system in the US.

@Dennis: When I went to high-school, I always thought that the students that started their first year when they was 21-22+ were retards :p

          Jimmy,

I also recommend that you go for it for two reasons. You are young and have a life time in front you that certainly will be enhanced by you following your dreams and furthering your education.

Also, when you are in your senior years, you won't have the regret that you didn't do it and wonder what your life could have been "if only".

  • Do it now, or you'll be asking the same question 5 years later and regret not doing it now.

You are never too old – I'm living proof of that. I dropped out of school in the 10th grade. And 5 years later decide to go to college. Here in the US there's a high school equivalency program called GED. I had the choice between going back to high school classes or night classes for the GED. I went to night school so I could still work.. I did we'll on the test and spent the next chapter of my life getting a college degree.
Go for it! You can do it.

And now you know you were wrong. So why worry about what other equally uninformed young students think about you starting over?

Kay made the same point I would have made. I would add that, if you let what other people think of you hold you back from what you truly want, they'll hold you back all your life. You give them that power, or you deny it. That's the choice.
