How can we increase the page rank of our blog?Easily and not boringly. Does copying some content of websites delay in increasing the rank. Do we have to make everything original ? In that case can we create and write poems?

    I suggest to do unique content, share the content in social media sites, bookmark sites and do quest blog post.

    Marius gives good advice. I'll flesh it out a bit for you.

    unique content - Search engines love unique content, and they aren't real fond of copied content. Aside from that, copying content from someone else's website is considered copyright infringement. Any time the word infringement is involved, it's a bad thing. When possible, write your own content. If you aren't able to come up with content on your own, either hire someone to write for you on a freelance site, or invest in PLR (private license rights) content and either rewrite it in your own words or have someone else rewrite it for you. Generally PLR is cheaper than uniquely written content, since it is meant to be sold more than once in order to make up for the price difference.

    share the content in social media sites and bookmark sites - Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Stumbleupon. These are all either social media or bookmark sites, and will help you drive traffic to your blog. Make your posts on social media sites relevant to your blog topic, and make sure you categorize your blog correctly on bookmark sites.

    quest blog post - err, wrong letter Marius I'm pretty sure you meant guest post. What this means is simply to find other blogs in your niche, contact the owner of the blog, and ask if you can do a guest post to link to your blog. Try for higher ranked blogs, since these tend to have a larger readership than low-ranked ones, and make sure that the guest post is some of your best work. After all, you're trying to get the other blog's readers to follow the link to your blog. If your guest post isn't well-written and engaging, the chances of that happening are slim to none. Many blog owners started out where you are now, and will be happy to help out a new blogger. However, some of the highly ranked blogs will sell guest blog posts.

    As for writing poems, it's your blog. You can pretty much put whatever you want on it.
