Easy but powerful tip to get your posts noticed in forums

Hi guys, needed a break from the other sections of WF so I decided to come over here and share a little tip

you guys might have heard of this, you might have not (its common sense anyway) but here it is:

1. Add a profile picture and add your contact info + social network info to your profile

This will help your posts get noticed for a couple of reasons:

1. It is more appealing to the eyes and it makes you more credible (duh)

2. It adds height to your posts even if it is a short one (this is quite unique not sure if anyone noticed this before)

I done it but you can only have a 80 X 80 avatar i thought you could have added a larger one like on facebook.

It certainly made you more credible to me. Anyone able to consume that much turkey and not get the meat sweats gets my utmost respect - as a person and a marketer.

Not only did it give you credibility, I went out and bought a dozen turkey legs and stuck them in the freezer...(well, 11 of them anyway...)

It's become glaringly obvious that I 1. don't know what works as far as branding goes and 2. need to start affiliating with turkey products.

And here I always thought the way to get noticed was through writing beneficial posts, a sprinkling of wit, and sending $10 to everyone's Paypal account.

Aw ... he's not so tough. He only ate the turkey leg because the mold was too thick on the pizza. A real tough guy would have just scraped the mold off ... or ate it.

  This is an internet marketing discussion forum thereby making the most relevant topic "internet marketing".
  
  If you stayed on topic, you would discuss "internet marketing", however if you went off topic, you would discuss just about anything allowed through the rules except "internet marketing".

  Some of the comments above used up my "thanks" for the day, though.
  
  The OP confused avatars and profile photos, but nearly everyone does that, and only pedantic chicks point it out.
  
  The best part of the thread was the discussion of Joseph's legs, and those were only the ones he eats.
  
  I went to a French restaurant last month. The man sitting at the next table to me had frogs' legs ... and his friend's weren't much better.
