With me, I work at home so the gas prices are not affecting me too much!

Are they causing you a hardship?

I work from home as well, and I'm thankful that I can do so without gas prices eating too big a hole in my pocket. When I did commute, gas prices weren't too terribly bad (in the lower $3's) and people groaned about it but this is getting ridiculous.

They're talking here on the local news about shortening the workweek to 4, 10 hour days. They said that nobody knows "who" first started the idea of the 40 hour work week.

When methane fills the air, it seems not too many people are really concerned about the cost to drive outta here.

I only live a mile or so from work, so as long as the weather is nice enough I ride to work and the grocer. Everything else I need to buy I order online anyway, so yeah I guess I have stopped driving, but it isn't just because of high gas prices. I like the exercise and the feel of riding my bike, it is just a nice benefit that I don't pay for gas anymore.

Filled up yesterday for £58 roughly $105. Glad I work at home now and that tank should last me 3 weeks.

Prices in the UK have fallen very slightly over the last 2 weeks from £1.19 a litre to about £1.13 in my area. Someone smarter than me can work out our price per gallon. I believe it is somewhere in the $10 range.

It is still being road-tested, but should be out soon.

I can honestly say that I'm in the black as it relates to the recent increase in gas prices.

gas prices are pretty harsh - I have started bottling my own gas.

It makes little direct difference to me as I do not drive much. I think I have filled the tank of my car 4 times since May. Petrol would have to cost 3-4 times as much as it does now before it would be a concern of mine.

However, prices overall are going up as a result of the increased cost of oil and that I DO notice. On the upside revenues are up much more than increased costs so I feel pretty chipper all round right now.

It's like life, you either accept it and go on or die. No one likes the fact that gas is rising faster than our cost of living increase, (if you have a job) but gas is a way of life. Sometimes it's methane for me.

Gas prices and commuting costs are a bummer. Just one of the reasons I quit my job and went home-based full-time. The hassles of adjusting to working from home are worth it compared to the craziness of gas prices.

Savings from the commute. You're already at work. Seeing the family more often. Anything else. Oh yeah, working your butt off on a 12 to 16 hour day. hehehe

The price of gas is really crazy nowadays. I would rather commute than to use the car for some errands. Though there is also an increase in the commuting cost, commuting is still cheaper.
Food and other basic commodities have also dramatically increased in prices. What you have tried to save on gas, you have to use it anyway to buy other necessities.
