Hello Guys,

1. Remove the screen bezel. Hold the frame from an edge and unsnap it from the back shell. Place a finger between the glass surface of the LCD panel and the plastic frame, and gently undo locking mechanisms. Work your way around the panel to detach the bezel completely.

2. Remove the hinge cover. Unscrew three points of attachment and loosen the hinge cover from the base of the LCD panel by maneuvering it until it comes off. You may have to loosen the cover from the back of the screen to pry it open. With the cover off, you will see the bare LCD panel framed in a thin metal bracket, and the inverter board that supplies power to the screen's backlight lamp.

3. Remove screws to detach the LCD screen from its position. You will have to undo 12 screws from all sides of the screen in the MacBook. Store the screws in a small container.

4. Tilt the screen forward and gently lay it on the keyboard, with its backside facing you. Place a soft cloth on the keyboard to prevent scratching the screen. Gently hold the top center edge of the LCD panel, and slowly lower it on the cloth over the keyboard.

5. Remove six screws from the metal bracket to detach it from the screen. Be wary of the wireless antenna attached to a side of the panel. Gently raise the antenna to access screws underneath, and lower it again. Remove two screws near the digital camera at the top of the screen.

6. Remove two cables connected to the LCD panel: the camera cable and the video cable. Remove the sticky tape attaching the camera cable to the back of the panel, and unplug it by sliding it out of its connector. Next, disconnect the video cable by unplugging it from its connector on the back of the panel.

7. Disconnect the power cable connecting the backlight lamp to the inverter board. Hold the plastic assembly at the end of the plug, and carefully detach it from the inverter. With the power cable disconnected, the MacBook's LCD screen is completely free from the computer.

8. Remove the screen. Raise it from the keyboard and carefully place it to a side. Install a new screen or repair the one you removed.

Thanks and Regards
