how to stop data link and data without switch off modem.

Hey friends,

please help me and suggest me what I can do.. i am frustrated and irritating,

i have a modem TP-LINK_9F804D of tp link, my room mate stops data link, i don't know how:confused:. but, when ever he goes out from the room he stop data link and I was unable to use net . Some times I lost my clients due to his this act. Please some one let me know if there is any possible solution of this problem. I have tried to reset, restart, reconnect the wires but all in vain. Please any tech there who knows the solution please let me know the answer. or mail me at my gmail account use ALVINIEKI AT ....

      Leon,

      Your friend may be signing in to the modem/router and blocking the Internet connection before he leaves. Most modem/router administration is done via a web browser.

      Another question that comes to mind, are you connecting to the Internet through his computer? If so, he turns his computer off and you got-no-net.
