Why not go take a break and do some push-ups and crunches? Maybe go for a little walk to and get a small drink of water. This is just a little reminder to take care of yourself!

My dog already reminds me to take a walk every day - in fact several times a day. He's quite emphatic about it, as a matter of fact. In fact he's in my face right now about it. See ya later. It's raining, this isn't going to be fun.

Getting a dog for that purpose is a great idea!

One of my brothers got a dog and hardly ever exercised it. He kept it chained to a outdoor dog coop year round. (What do you expect he works as a prison guard) I felt so sorry for it and would take it out for a run myself when I could.

I got my first dog at the age of 27 - when I started realizing that even if I stayed slim, stuff was gonna slide if I didn't work it. Of course, I love the hell out of animals and will do what it takes to take care of them as they should be so I started walking between 2 and 5 miles everyday. I haven't stopped yet. I always have a dog and he's always deadly spoiled and we are both always well exercised. There's no other way I would ever want to live. I'll be 58 in a few weeks and I still have a stomach that can make 18 year old girls jealous -- and I owe that completely to my wonderful little furballs, who nag the crap out of me if I'm not getting them enough foot time in the fresh air and sun.

Add a deep lunge in between each burpee and you'll have a full body workout going on...

Because I prefer to interpretive dance and well, I still love to hula-hoop.

Hoola Hoop. Yep. And that's why your gut isn't hanging over your belt either.

            Thanks Sal!

Yeah, I should have said hoola hoop rather than hula hoop, lol! I mean it's not like I wear a grass skirt while exercising with it.
