That movie "IT" really freaked me out when I was a kid. Now, I find it funny. Most human fears, are rational. Irrational fear, is the one that comes with survival instinct. For example, the fear that feels an animal when is on trouble. Or the fear you have when your are on a near dead experience.

When Steven King arrived on scene.

My oldest daughter has a fear of clowns too.

One night, way back when she was a teenager, her little brother decided to draw this

and taped it to her bedroom door while she was out.

She woke the whole house with her screams when she got home, Haha!

By the way, she was late for curfew and got it from her dad, too.

Well...that's what she gets for clowning around...:p

(btw: your son has a nice, primitive 'John Wayne Gacy' style to his art...)

Clowns are a bit creepy -- but nothing like dolls are. I HATE dolls. And puppets. Puppets like muppets - animal puppets are okay, but puppets of people are just damned freaky.

My son hates mannequins, in particular headless mannequins. When it comes to clowns, I don't know about my toddler, but they scare me. I was horrified to see one in Wheels on the Bus video. Why do they have to turn a children's song into a horror flick? A lot of things in this video could spark nightmares. My fingers are shaking in fear as I write this. It didn't scare my 2-year-old, though.

I just watched that video without sound TB. It's way strange. Looks like everyone is stoned out of their gourds.
