"too profitable to cure" by Brent Hoadley

I could not find it anywhere online...

After living with diabetes for over 50 years, and witnessing few changes in the treatment of the disease, Brent Hoadley has written Too Profitable to Cure.

Distressed that the cure is no closer now than when he was diagnosed, at the age of 14 -- Hoadley took it upon himself to find answers. He notes the current state of healthcare for those who suffer from chronic diseases, and contends that profit, not humanitarianism, is driving American healthcare. As an entrepreneur and an investor, he is aware, and appreciates the profit motive that drives capitalism. However, he feels the bottom line should not interfere with the pursuit of a cure. With pragmatic drive, he identifies culprits and urges activism as a countermeasure.
If someone living in the U.S knows about this book then please let me know.

Better if it is available in ebook format.

Hmmmm, you are right, tough book to find, l guess it told the truth too much, and was canned as a result.

We don't want shareholders in the pharmaceutical company's to make a loss, best to keep the death rates up than, find a cheap cure!!!

I was reading about a new drug that gives terminally ill Melanoma sufferers, (in AU) a 30% change of prolonging their lives!

Of course it costs somewhere between $50 - $100, thousand a year to take; so what else is new!

Yeah, we can be virtually guaranteed that if a cure is found, for Cancer, it will be long term and hideously expensive!

Funny thing about this drug is initial tests weren't 100% effective, and some patients, died!

If this was a natural, cheap and quick cure, then it would be dragged through law courts, etc and the person, with the cheap option, and most likely much higher success rate, would be discredited!

Harry Truman, seemed to have started this headless monster, (Cancer treatments, etc) but thankfully the truth is online!

Ok, l have had my rant, now back to your problem; l couldn't find it, but l did find the next best thing!

Click on this link, and other options are further down the page!

If you buy this one, let us know here what you find, sounds interesting!!!

Trudeau's activities have been the subject of both criminal and civil action. He was convicted of larceny and credit card fraud in the early 1990s, and in 1998 he was sued by U.S. Federal Trade Commission for making false or misleading claims in his infomercials promoting his book,'The Weight-Loss Cure "They" Don't Want You to Know About. In 2004, he settled that action, by agreeing to pay a $500,000 fine and consenting to a lifetime ban on promoting products other than his books via infomercials. On Nov. 29, 2011, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a $37.6 million fine levied against him for violating that 2004 settlement. Additionally, on remand, the district court modified its final order, requiring that he post a $2 million bond before engaging in future infomercial advertising.

You can get the order page through the Wayback Machine. It's got his mailing address and phone number. Don't know if they're still current, but at least you have something to go on.

I just got done with Saving Ricky: The Second Rescue and I was able to write it as a personal experience book only. I do list every single thing I used, but it is part of the story and has disclaimers on it. Nowhere was I able to even lightly suggest someone else try anything I did. EVEN though a lot of the substances I used, I used because of research results from real medical researchers published on pubmed. Go figure.
