OFF TOPIC

Hey to all who reads my post,

I have a Dell xps 400 computer (I know please dont laugh at it !!!), what has happened in the last few days is the content on the screen has blowed up big and runs off the monitor . So now I have to scroll over to the right to see what is over there, I have tried to readjust it using the screen resolution (pixels) with no luck, and cant find my problem on the Internet that addresses it. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks Ken

Hmmmm, could try pressing CTRL and ALT at the same time then using the scroll wheel on your mouse, to adjust screen size?

I use that on my Toshiba Laptop with Windows 7, when the text size is too small to read!

Does it only happen when you are using a web browser or for every program?

If it happens in a web browser, have you tried another browser?

  It happens on all applications (email, surfing the web, etc), and I forgot to say after it happened. All my desktop icons were rearranged?

Try going into your graphics control panel (Nvidia or ATI) and going to the screen adjustment section. You can adjust the width and height of the screen from there. Hope that helps!

Could be an issue with your monitor's driver. Try reinstalling/updating it.

While the graphics control panel doesn't have to be nvidia or ati,that's a good place to try to fix the problem. I'd go there first.
Right click a clear spot on the desktop and go to properties then settings. there is a slider there that lets you change the resolution.
Try adjusting that to get your screen back to normal size.

Fault finding methods are too slow. The time it takes to locate the cause creates too much down time. There are better ways to manage a computer if you are using it for an online business.

If you are serious about an online business then consider setting up your computer to meet your business needs.
