Blockbuster Movies For 2013!!!

Hmmmm, l thought that too, initially, but go further in and you will see high quality special effects, which is, (hopefully) part of the actual movie!!!

I mean the world is crying out for a terminator type all out war with the machines, up till now we have only seen fleeting glimpses!

I think that it is genuine, but if you find proof that some kid with imovie put this together l will be all ears!

1. It's TERRIBLY made.
2. It was uploaded in 2011.
3. It was uploaded by some random youtube user not related to Terminator or any movie industry.
4. All it takes is a google search to know there is no Terminator 5 at the moment.
5. Most of those clips are from the old movies.

I usually don't like movie trailers, but the Die Hard trailer is pretty good.

The visuals kept up with the tempo of Beethoven's music pretty good.

They may be doing a Soylent Green remake or the next installment; couldn't find any info, on it, (videos) but it seems that they are making it as we speak!

@ Frank ... that one might be worth watching for the special effects. My wife wouldn't go for that but it would give me an excuse to take my grandson on an outing.

Hmmm, you might like Looper, which is on now, more or less!

A bit like Die Hard, the Twilight Zone, and Back to The Future - part 2! With a bit of XMen thrown in!

Clever story, and well worth seeing!

Kim, I only read about the movie for the first time last week. It looks interesting, given the form of the director (Guillermo del Toro). I've enjoyed his more "arty" films such as Pan's Labyrinth, but he's also turned his hand to mainstream action pics with good results (eg Hellboy).

  Looks like a less boring version of transformers, the one with the same actor, and attractive girlfriend, who manages to lose most of her clothes while fighting nasty creatures!!!
  
  As you are saying, the director, may make an effort to give a more realistic storyline! If he produced Hellboy, then the storyline could be great? Time will tell!

Funny thing about the back to the future one, is Spielbergs son did it, and it makes a joke out of the last one, (above)!

Jaws 4 used "this time it is personal", and back to the future Jaws used, "this time it is very very personal". LOL!!!

Who knows, maybe Universal will talk to Speilberg, and make a Jaws 5, as a joke? Time will tell? :rolleyes:

  The latest Star Trek was good, eventhough the critics, thrashed it!
  
  Visually impressive, (must have taken them ages with the red trees) and character development was a little lacking, but still good.
  
  They also make strong references to older Star Trek series characters, and to one of the motion picture Star Trek movies with, (not the prequel ones shown now).

Will there be any actual original movies made this year?

Are movies, like history, doomed to repeat the past? But alas, it all boils down to the box office...

(not that I probably won't be seeing some of these sequels myself :rolleyes

I saw the previews for 'Oz' last night - those flying Monkeys scared the cr@p out of me when I was a little kid, and they looked pretty harmless - these monkeys look like they want to eviscerate you! And we are not just talking Scarecrows!
