Newbie - Some questions regarding my membership

I think I made a mistake by trying to post this in the news section. If this forum isn't the right place to post either, please point me in the right direction.
I finally managed to register! My mind exploded from all the information up in the War Room. My head's still buzzing from the 6 hour binge I just came out of over there. Anyway, I have some questions and I hope this is the right place to post them:
1. I read some messages around indicating that you need a certain post count before you can send PMs. However, I sent one earlier and did not receive any notification saying that it didn't go through. Should I be worried that it hasn't been sent?
2. I can't seem to access the Warrior Book Club and the High Voltage Video forum. Aren't these part of the $37 full membership?
