Default How did YOU find the Warrior Forum??? (and where did Willie go?)

I noticed a thread here earlier today on how someone stumbled in here, and I began to wonder - how did you find the WF?

I found it when actively searching for internet marketing forums. I was lucky to get a radio interview with Willie Crawford early on regarding what was going on with me at the time - just after he started his shows. It was nice to see him here and really made me feel right at home having someone I was a bit familiar with in sight.

Where the heck is he anyway? I need to do a follow up! Willie, I am sending you thoughts!

Anyway, how did you all find this place? What was your initial motivation? What were you googling?

(ps, just looked up the spelling of googling and it is correct)

I kept seeing "warrior forum" on the Click bank success forum (the first IM forum I joined" and then googled it up to find it

I saw it mentioned over at DigitalPoint. When I first came over here, I didnt like the format...basically the one large forum without sub-forums (come on, I was used to DP). Anyway, I left and forgot my login.

A few months later I came back, and I have been making money ever since.

I am not sure 100% but I think I got here from big-boards, as I have been searching for good marketing forums.

I am very happy to be a member here, I got really addicted, reading non stop for almost 2 weeks now.

Funny, I found DP I think right before WF - but found the look here more appealing. I saw DP but did not join immediately.

I questioned myself later if DP was too small a font, and the colors - and felt more attracted to the red in here.

Yea, I liked how it was organized. I wasted a year over there!

Last I heard Willie had been focusing on making infomercials. He's probably too busy to play with us anymore.

Jill,

I actually joined way back in 1997 or 1998, I think. Back when the forum was only one of the features. I think I paid about $50 to join, and Alan had several hundred downloads of every description. I've still got most of those things still stored away in my HD's digital basement (mostly outdated now, but they have sentimental value).

Over the years the Warriors site evolved, and I came and went and came and went away again. Over the past six or seven years I've stayed away too long and had my ID and membership deleted at least twice (along with all my posts).

In my current incarnation I only have somewhere southward of 30 posts. I'm not sure what the count would be if I'd stayed on and logged in regularly. But certainly not as many as Wagenheim. The man is amazing and I stand in awe of both the volume and the quality of his posts.

Am I back to stay this time? Yeah, I think I am. And by the way, thanks for asking the question. It'll be interesting to see everybody else's door of entry.

Cheers from warm and smiling Thailand,
Charles

Yes. I too have those ebooks and software stored somewhere in my pile of CDs. At that time, those info were treasure so I simply wrote them into CDs. Maybe in future it will be treasure to someone else.

Hi Charles!

There are some archives somewhere else with old threads - but I'm not sure how far back they go. I would like to think that someone has all that older information for reference.

Hi Jill,

I'm in the same boat as you. When I started I was looking for ways to better market my online retail sites, during some searching I kept coming across the name "Willie Crawford"...dug a little deeper, found an ebook of Willie's...later on his radio show. There was a lot of mention of the WF...so I came to check it out.....lurked a long time, reading, watching, learning before I felt comfortable enough to chime in...
Yes Willie, it's all your fault...lol

I joined like others did in 97 or so. . . What was the price? 34.95 for a lifetime membership? I forget. . . I remember my keywords though, they were "internet marketing" and I remember the banner that I saw, "Bring Your Server To Its Knees"

Things have changed here. . . In fact, things have changed so much online since 95.

Andrew

I don't even remember how I found this place the first time.

I was a visitor from time to time for nearly 3 years before recently joining at the recommendation of a friend.

I joined DP some several years back, but never really got into it much.

Boy I wish I would have joined a long time ago.

My Friends,

Beeing online for a while I met different forums yet. There were interesting forums and I read their content but didn't contribute. Some was boring so I clicked away rapidly. Other was rude - so I hadn't intention to be a member on a slightest way.

Then I read a report by Jimmy D Brown about the Warrior Forum, and thought to give it a try. At the beginning I was a quiet observer only but after a time I thought it is worth to stay and contribute. It proved to be true.

I've pleasure to be a member here because of the atmosphere, the knowledge and the helpfulness of other members. This is the serious businessmen's club and I like beeing here. If I have time and feel myself qualified I also give my opinion about themes.

The man is glad if he gets something from others, but it is much bigger joy, if he may give something of himself for the others.

Warrior Forum rocks!

Cheers,

Sandor

Same as a lot of other posters here, I kept on hearing mention of The Warrior Forum, either on other boards (not DP) or via searches and in the end I just thought, ok, ok, enough is enough, I need to get my backside over there to see what all the fuss is about... so pleased I did LOL

I first heard of the warrior forum many moons ago from Jimmy D Brown also, Googled it and have been here ever since.

Very glad I did too!

I don't get here as much as I use to - busy etc. Must find more time...

As for Willie. I think I had a promo email from him recently although I can't seem to find the message.

Take care

A friend told me before that there are forum site about internet marketing, SEO and stuffs. It so happened that my PC was not doing so well that time so I just jotted it down first. And I completely forget about it not until yesterday, I was scanning on my files, and there it was. Luckily, this is a big help for me now that I am focusing on Home based working.

Default I was wondering about Dreamweaver

I don't have any experience with Dreamweaver but I'm thinking REAL HARD about learning that program home school style. So last night I got to wondering: could a person build a professional looking website with Dreamweaver and only Dreamweaver, and nothing else??

So I googled some keywords, I think they were keywords
"dreamweaver any good" and one of the first 5 citations on
page one of that search was a thread that originated here
at this site, a thread that discussed Dreamweaver

I found it when indexing Webmaster Forums for my Directory. It was recommended to me to add to this list, it is currently ranked Joint #7 in my statistical ranking of web directories.

When a friend sent me a link to the website, I thought it was a Warriors fansite. (I like Warriors movie)... After reading a few forums, it came clear this was a great forum for webmasters.
