Turtles Are Related To Birds?

I was thinking that turtles heads resemble birds heads, so looked it up:
Turtles more closely related to birds than lizards and snakes, genetic evidence shows

Although they may not be related, there's definitely a connection. The Turtles were originally called The Tyrtles - inspired by the misspelling of The Byrds (who took their own nomenclature inspiration from The Beatles).

LOL Frank.

Considering both are related to dinosaurs, I'm not sure this is much of a surprise. Other than the only turtles that fly are flattened like fly cats while birds kept their feathers (there is a theory that dino's had feathers).
