Gangnam Style Predicted by Nostradamus As An End Of The World Signal?

This is probably the most strange of all things related to the end of the world craze. Now, it appears that Nostradamus predicted that, as soon as the video hits 1 000000000 visits, the world will come to an end?

I didn't know Korea was called the "calm morning country" but it seems it's true.

So profecy experts out there, what's your take on this?

I remember watching some program a really long time ago where a rock star was being interviewed. Can't quite remember the question, although it is implied by this paraphrased answer: You don't get inspiration from a glass of ice tea.

Besides that, I'm just not into believing or following Nostradamus' prophecies. Anybody could make enough prophecies that surely something said will be true or relatedly so at some unknown point in the future, then bingo, that person was right on!

lol - good catch, I didn't notice that.

Nostradamus was one heckuva marketer. He wrote in riddles and people are still talking about him.

Howe did Nostradamus know the Internet would be invented, let alone Youtube and Gangnam style?

Because he was a seer and could see the future or possibly hear it, through staring at a tripod of water, etc....

A futurist using statistical analysis, etc almost 500 years ago, would have had an uphill battle trying to future out the future!

I did a check the official video is past the 900,000,000 mark, so it should hit the 1 billion mark around the 21st!

And he does mention the horse dance; this is one of the most spot on prophesies, l have read from Nostradamus.

But l don't agree with the world ending bit! Back then it was likely, but since certain changes have taken place, the end of the world is very unlikely, but there will be dramatic changes, shortly after that date, or more accurately revelations about certain hidden bits of information!

Nostradamus couldn't have known that Youtube, Gangnam Style and the internet would be invented. That's exactly what makes me very curious about this, and I don't usually believe in these kind of stuff.

Nostradamus was talented at speaking in nebulous themes that could be interpreted by anybody, anywhere in any age any way they want.

We look at his ancient words and relate them to current events that have meaning to us. I am certain their were people in every century who took the same words you quoted here, interpreted them according to their local time references and reacted and responded the same way.

Imagine our descendents in the coming centuries "discovering" the amazingly prophet messages to be found in Beatles and Bowie lyrics!

Yup - the thing about predictions is that you can wait to see what happens and then go back and find someone in the past who said something that could be interpreted to mean "i knew that was coming".

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

The thing about Nostradamus is that he said so much stuff that was so vague, you could make nearly any event fit into one of his quatrains with enough effort.
