Yikes- pictures of meth addicts

Warning, these pictures are shocking and depressing. It's amazing what meth does to the human body and mind:

    Really so sick and so sad.

    Who but a sick person would do this to themselves? I have to liken this to 'cutting' which I am sure has to be self-hatred.

    Instead of treating the mental illness and addiction, they are put in jail -- but thankfully it may save their lives anyway, because they (might be) cut off from their supply - although I hear in prison it is a regular black market pharmacy 24/7/365.

    I tried everything back in the day and I just thank God that I could just walk away with no problem. Just don't do it. It's done.

    .... except cigarettes and they remain the sum total of my addiction to self-hatred. I imagine my lungs look a lot like some of those faces.

    OMG!!! That Meth article is so horrifying! That first photo of the 27 year old girl was really shocking. She looked pretty cute before doing Meth. At age 30, she looks like a character from a horror movie. Why would anyone want to take a drug that makes them look like a zombie? Yuck!

      Instead of treating the mental illness and addiction, they are put in jail
      But the jail time is usually for theft or prostitution or other unsavory things addicts do to get the next fix.

      ...or for cooking meth
