Recently came across this website and thought it would be idea for amazon promotion.

The site's absolutely aesthetically pleasing to the eye..(IMO)
I'm curious as to the theme... the source code states it's Bootstrap ... searched the net for bootstrap theme... nothing came up resembling this.

Any idea where I can get this theme, or how I can rip the entire theme?

Thanks in advance.

It's not a WordPress site. It's a custom made HTML site and it's not associated with Amazon in any way.

It IS a Wordpress site. Sorry to burst your bubble but I was looking at the view source and it has "bread crumb" options which is a plugin WP offers. Just because it talks about html in the source doesn't mean it's not WP.

OP there are a lot of paid WP themes that can make this type of site. Look into Studiopress or Thesis to start. Hope that helps.

I don't think so, Scrofford. If it is they've moved the wp-amin login page to a new location because where it should be if it was a Wordpress site brings a 404 error page. Breadcrumb trails are available on straight HTML sites too. It's just JavaScript.

I'm not saying that site is Wordpress (never thought it was), but folders and file names can be changed in Wordpress (but if you don't change it in all the necessary corresponding places affected by the alterations, muchas problemas). I've done it myself. It increases security but adds a lot of work to updating (not fun). Some security apps will produce a 404 page for anyone other than permitted ip numbers.

...which most people don't know how to do, and of those who do know how, most aren't willing to go to that much trouble when there are easier ways to harden a WP site, which led me to my conclusion.

Artisteer is a cool program though. I use it for some things.

You could just install Wordpress in a secret sub-directory and point it to the root so no one would be able to find your files and people still can access your site from your root domain. Wordpress lets you do this and it's not hard either.

Yes, but there are still ways to figure out where the access point is, eg following image paths.

You bursted my bubble TOTALLY!

Take a look at the URI
        /home.html
        WordPress doesn't use HTML files.

I can't find ANY information about that this site runs WordPress with 'builtwith' either: http://builtwith.com/?http%3a%2f%2fw...om%2fhome.html (try with a WP site and you'll see)

And at last, I can't find anything in the source code that's indicating that the site run WP.

        Sorry to burst your bubble...

Bootstrap just means a framework to help build the html template, here's the CSS framework they used on the site/link in OP.

One way to accomplish something similar would be through Artisteer/The Templateer

Here's a referral for one of the WF's own website designers. (Actually, there are several, but this is the only one I can remember at the moment - just check the WSO section for more.)

Here's a link to Verena's website - she sells premade sites or will custom make a wordpress site for you according to your specifications. The wordpress theme she uses for her pre-made sites are very similar to the one in your link. 25 Dollar Blogs

I know there are other WF members who do similar sites - cashcow, sbucarriel (did I spell that right Suzanne?) and others. If you want a Wordpress site that looks like that, check the WSO Complete Websites for Sale section.

    Just a thot!

Very nice (for lack of a better word) discussion going on here.
I have some sites running off wordpress that I've custom played with the .css code and rendered them to look like any regular .html site, but nothing close to what the site whose subject we're discussing have been able to do.

Appreciate all the comments, now I have some homework to do.
