Head of US Homeland Security Says OK To Employ Illegals?! WTF?!

True...well, she didn't actually say it in so many words of course, she's a politician.

Janet Napolitano, former governor of Arizona, the frontline in illegal immigration and drug cartel violence, ordered 27 illegal immigrants released after they were arrested in an immigration raid on a Bellingham, Washington company. Then she ordered they BE ISSUED WORK PERMITS!!!

Americans are out of work, yet illegal immigrants are released and allowed to work here?! Read this outrage for yourself:

Napolitano Signals Surrender on Immigration Enforcement

Last week, Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano ordered the release of 27 illegal aliens who had been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as part of a worksite enforcement investigation in Bellingham, Washington. Upon their release, Napolitano directed that the ICE officials handling the case issue work permits to these illegal aliens. (Fox News, April 1, 2009). Napolitano, who reportedly was unhappy with ICE's actions, requested a probe of the ICE team responsible for the enforcement effort (The Seattle Times, March 31, 2009), and has also ordered enforcement of the law suspended pending a comprehensive review of DHS immigration policy, according to a senior DHS source requesting anonymity. (The Washington Post, March 29, 2009).

These unusual directives come at a time of increased scrutiny over the Obama Administration's shift in policy from enforcing our nation's immigration laws to policies that critics suggest will encourage more illegal immigration. For example, on March 24, Napolitano issued a press release announcing an effort to counter Mexican drug cartel-related violence by redeploying ICE agents from their current role of interior enforcement. (FAIR's Legislative Update, March 30, 2009).

At an April 2 House Appropriations subcommittee hearing last week, Rep. Harold "Hal" Rogers (R-KY) cited the Bellingham case as proof that the administration was attempting to divert attention from immigration enforcement and warned that it would be a "giant mistake" to remove ICE agents from their current enforcement responsibilities. (The Washington Times, April 2, 2009).

That same day, Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) expressed similar frustration about efforts to undermine the very successful 287(g) program, which provides training to state and local law enforcement to assist in immigration enforcement. Noting that opponents of 287(g) have been critical of the program's use in Maricopa County, Arizona, Franks pointed out that a significant amount of violent crime in the county is committed by illegal aliens and that enforcement efforts are central to ensuring public safety. (East Valley Tribune, April 2, 2009).

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR): FAIR Legislative Update April 6, 2009

Continue scrolling down through the above page and you'll learn of even MORE outrages being launched against Americans right here in America.

Try this one on for size:

Despite Rising Unemployment, Banks Continue to Replace Americans with H-1B Workers

Amid last week's announcement that the nationwide unemployment rate has now climbed to 8.5% (Bureau of Labor Statistics), immigration experts and media reports have highlighted how banks who received funding from last year's $700 billion federal bank bailout are utilizing the H-1B visa program to replace American workers with cheap foreign labor. This discrimination against American citizens in favor of foreign workers continues despite legislation aimed to prevent this. In February, Senators Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) successfully attached the "Employ American Workers Act" (EAWA) to the stimulus bill.

Read the full article at The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR): FAIR Legislative Update April 6, 2009

Now before any of the pro-illegal immigrant sector start spewing forth that the above was written by FAIR (Federation for American Immgration Reform) realize that FAIR clearly lists every one of their sources for what they detail in the above website. These sources include The Arizona Republic, Reuters, The Los Angeles Times, The Seattle Times, The Washington Post, Fox News and Bloomberg, so any claims of bias against illegal immigration will ring false here.

I find it reprehensible that American workers are being replaced by cheap immigrant H1B holders and illegals when Americans are losing their jobs, their homes, families are being torn apart (the wife and kids move in with her parents while dad sleeps in the car, marriages dissolve due to the stress of being broke and homeless, etc.) WHILE BANKS DO THIS TO AMERICANS USING BAILOUT MONEY!!!

YOU MIGHT AS WELL SAY WE ARE CUTTING OUR OWN THROATS THANKS TO THE WISDOM OF OUR CURRENT AMERICAN LEADERSHIP!!!

And you thought it was bad that our children's children would still be paying off these trillions of dollars in bailout money that was 'legally' stolen from the taxpayers?

You haven't seen anything yet...I think it's long past time for Americans to start acting like the French and start raising some serious hell in the streets.

Unlikely, as you'd simply be labeled terrorists by your own government and dealt with in that manner. At best, you'd be castigated by the mainsteam media for your "un-American" activities.

Gee, we certainly wouldn't want to be castigated by the mainstream media now, would we? (rolling eyes)

John F. Kennedy once said, "If you make peaceful revolution impossible, you make violent revolution inevitable."

We can petition the government for redress of grievances, according to the U.S. Constitution, but wouldn't that be the same as seeing a cop commit a crime and asking him to arrest himself?

You might not mind but alot of your fellow countrymen would: Social pressures (which, to a large extent, really are dictated by the mass media) are part of the reason that protests (whether peaceful or violent) aren't more widespead in places like the US, or, when they do happen, don't attract sufficient media attention to be widely publicised... unless they turn violent, in which case, they are publicised in a "look-what-these-Commie-nutjob-*******s-are-doing... they-hate-America!" way, which turns large numbers of people (whose thoughts are driven by what they see in the media) against the protestors, without giving their cause any attention whatsoever.

Just 2 weeks ago, nancy pelosi was talking to a group of illegal immigrants at a 'town hall' kind of thing and said that the INS raids on work sites were unamerican, and thanked the federal criminals (illegals) for being concerned about the future of our country.

I heard that, Michael. I've called for Pelosi's head on a pike quite a few times. Looks like I can add Napolitano's, too. How anti-American can they get? And they are elected officials!

This is going to end up in War. Out here it is impossible to get a public service or customer service position without speaking spanish - it is impossible to get a social service job if you don't speak spanish. You can't be a teacher in many places unless you speak spanish - and in Agriculture most companies just flat out refuse to hire Americans unless they are hispanic. The result is that Hispanics are taking over ALL the jobs -- yet I still hear the lunatic fringe liberals saying they only get jobs Americans don't want. It's causing some major unrest and is going to result in war if something isn't done about it.

I've called for Pelosi's head on a platter, too - she's so far into treason that she spits on America openly -- yet the Californians are the ones that need to have her impeached - that is her state. So where are they? Is everyone in California parked in front of a TV or at the Mall?

Hey Sal, I discovered yesterday that Washington state is one of the four that issue driver's licenses to illegal immigrants...

If that doesn't get your blood boiling, I don't what will. They are taking over...and with the government's blessings!

How much clearer a sign does anyone need that our government does not work for us?

Oh if you want something that will really tweak your nuggets, go to arizona and get a ticket.

      there is an english court
there is a spanish court most everyone in the spanish court is illegal.

also, down here in s. florida, the home depots are having a problem because of the illegals that hang around looking for work. they cause traffic accidents, harrass the customers etc. the cops give them trespassing tickets knowing they are illegals and have no documentation, so why would they show up to court?

For those of you that are hard of hearing:
"Sorry folks but enough is enough. We are called the Warriors, yes, but we don't have forum section that cause members to go to war with each other and begin to hate each other.

From this point on Religious & Political not allowed and posting them will get you banned for a while and then for good if it continues.

Take your hatred for the US, UK, Australia, China, Christmas...etc somewhere else. Not here. "

Everyday someone comes in here and posts threads they KNOW are not allowed. Why? If this was a physical location would you all still be so rude to your host?

    Well, excuuuuuuuuuuuuusssssssse me.

Sorry, Kim, I don't associate it as being rude to anyone, and as long as this forum is open to anyone who wants to set up a user name, this type of thing is bound to happen.

And just so you know, far as I'm concerned, there isn't one Warrior that I have disagreed with that I would not buy a drink for. 'Hate' is really over reaching. (What're you drinking? Bartender! A round for my friends!)

I haven't seen anyone in this thread getting mad at each other, so what's up?

And who died and made you God? (Oh, dang it, I mentioned religion! Sorry, didn't mean to do that.)

The rule was brought back BECAUSE some were yelling and cursing at each other over topics involving religion and politics, yes, but if you'll look around the room, Kim, there ain't no fightin' going on in here. I think we're doing a pretty good job of keeping our voices down.

Has anyone heard about the National Tea Party Tax Revolt?

I'm one of the coordinators in California. It's a national protest regarding the Stimulus, and other constitutional abuses. Are you aware of the national grand jury to investigate the legitimacy of Obama's presidency? 28 states have declared sovereignty from the Federal government. Georga has filed lawsuit with the US Supreme Court to impeach Obama, along with Alan Keys and over 30 other individuals and organizations. If you want to express your outrage either join or organize a tea party in your community:

Official Tax Day TEA Party, April 15th, 2009

    http://patriotsforamerica. ning.com/group/ patriotsforamericacalifornia

    http://taxdayteaparty.com/ teaparty/california/

    http://newamericanteaparty.com

    Take Back U.S.A.

If you cannot attend: send either tea bags or tea labels w/strings to your elected officials. Many people are including the BIRTH CERTIFICATES for everyone in their family! Many are writing letters. Hmmm......let's do the math. We have 375 million in the US. If 1 million sends a tea bag or tea label and the elected official counts it like they usually do-----representing 3,000 Americans who didn't write, let's see....that's 3 BILLION P*SSED OFF AMERICANS! That's enough to get ANY politician wetting their pants, and scurrying to appease their constituents. Or, they'll declair martial law and put us into FEMA camps! If they haul me away....I hope it's with GOOD REASON---that I stood up and faught back!

We have more power than you think!

Star, unless you were here under a different name, you weren't here to see what was going on: Join date January2009.

So,this type of thing is bound to happen? Only by those that again, are disrespectful to their host. Just saying something can happen doesn't mean it should.
When you joined the forum you agreed to abide by the TOS.

I finally broke down and said something in this thread, but in another thread you started you said to someone "now Im getting mad".

Who died and made me God? No One.

Do I wish we were allowed to talk politics and religion along with everything else?
You Betcha! But we aren't. And you along with the others are aware of it.
I even considered setting up a forum for those of us that wanted to continue discussing such topics
So again, that question remains, why do you do it?

"The rule was brought back BECAUSE some were yelling and cursing at each other over topics involving religion and politics, yes, but if you'll look around the room, Kim, there ain't no fightin' going on in here. I think we're doing a pretty good job of keeping our voices down. "

Again, you werent here for the change your making assumptions, and you know what happens when you assume

Your right, there isn't any fighting right now because those that have posted in this thread are mainly of the same mind as you.And for the most part,so am I,but thats not the point.

The question remains, why do you do it?

PS: there are only one or two people that I wouldn't buy a drink for either.

    Star,
it was late when I posted that last night, maybe I can clarify better, because you do have one legitimate point.
The majority of us that post down here, especially in the areas of discussion that are now forbidden, did it without hard feelings.

From what it appeared to me the ones that raised a fuss for the most part didn't even participate.
I was not, and still am not happy about it.

I have been throught I think 4 different versions of the WF,and I think this one is the best.
But if you ask some of the older members like myself, Off Topic is a relatively new addition. The first two versions of the WF did not have any areas at all like OT.

I would prefer to have OT with 2 subjects forbidden at the owners request, than have it taken completely away, which I have been told has happened in the past.

As you can see. others are already piggybacking their issues into this thread.

And that's why I can see problems occurring again if people ignore the owners rules.

Hopefully this helps you understand where I am coming from.

I agree, Kim, I think the Off-Topic Forum is a major draw to the WF for a lot of people, simply because of the vast amount of different topics and I would hate to see it disappear, too. Talking only about making money online does get a bit stale after a few hours.

But to be honest, if this Off-Topic discussion forum is removed, I will simply venture over to v7n and jump back into the political skirmish over there. And my venturing over there would take me from here and I may forget to come back. (I wouldn't forget intentionally. The WF is still one of the best IM forums online, IMHO.)

Would that be my loss or the WF's? I believe I have made some decently helpful posts here from time to time, and I have learned a lot here as well.

Rather than needing to delete the entire Off-Topic forum, individual threads can be deleted when they become heated, and some have been rightfully deleted in the past when people begin to get personal. (I've been here for quite awhile, actually. I lurked here for a few years before I joined. Recall Mr. Ellis telling someone, "With all due respect, go to hell"? or espacecadet getting into it with Tim Phelan? They directed very personal comments at each other, unfortunately.)

I personally don't see a need to remove the entire Off-Topic Forum and hope Allen Says doesn't either. All we need to remember is to be civil with each other and respect that others have opinions that will differ from ours.

Yes, I did say to someone in another thread that they were making me angry, my exact quote being "Michael, you're really starting to tick me off, in case you haven't figured that out yet."

But please notice that I did not let it disolve into personal attacks or name calling towards another poster. We can agree to disagree in a civil manner, and in a later post in the same thread I wished everyone well and told them I was leaving that thread. My staying would've only resulted in more headbutting with Michael, which is counterproductive, so I chose to leave it alone. Sometimes it's better to walk away.

"Again, you werent here for the change your making assumptions, and you know what happens when you assume " Kim W.

Indeed, I certainly was here for the change, but not as a member at the time.

"The question remains, why do you do it?" Kim W.

Martini's are better shaken, not stirred, Kim... If no one shakes things up once in awhile, this forum will lose its edge and not be as lively. People might start to drift off elsewhere, eh? I don't think there's anything wrong with waking people up when they begin to nod off in the bar. Keeps them from falling off their stools and spilling thier drinks...

"PS: there are only one or two people that I wouldn't buy a drink for either." Kim W.

Kim, I'll buy a drink for anyone here, no matter how much we may disagree (but I never said I'd sit with them and become BFF...)

      Nice chatting with you.
