Legendary door-to-door salesman Horace Bartholomew Schmidt -- The Man In The Plaid Suti himself -- has not been properly credited for a number of his contributions. Here are some:

1. I guess you know the story of the Three Little Pigs? Well, it was the wandering salesman in the plaid suit, Horace Bartholomew Schmidt, who sold bricks to the third pig and convincing the pig of the wisdom of making a home out of them, strong enough the withstand the huffs and puffs of the wolf. It was those huffs and puffs that knocked down the homes of the pig's siblings leaving them exposed and of course they were eaten by the wolf (actually wolf and domestic dog hybrid, but I digress)

2. The Plaid-Suited Peddler Horace Bartholomew Schmidt composed a song of his praise towards the accomplishments of others.:
From Horace,
Jolly Good Fellow
From Horace,
Jolly Good Fellow
That no one can deny.

There's more, but I was just sharing a couple of examples of the historical contributions of Horace Bartholomew Schmidt, the Man in the Plaid Suit himself.
