I don't have a TV so don't watch it much. Tonight I had the opportunity to watch TV and saw some well-produced, well-written stuff. But what kind of ruined it for me was that the commercials kept on getting interrupted by stupid TV shows.

I actually went 3 years without watching TV. Some of the best time ever. WOW, in the 1960s, they actually had some nice college courses on TV. Languages, Art, Nutrition, etc.... NOW, half the entertainment is laughing at the stupidity of it all.

    I don't have a jet so I don't fly it much.

On the off chance I happen to commit to TV to watch a rare, decent programme or movie, I always use my "Mute" button reflex when the ads show and reach for the acoustic guitar.

Keeps me free from mind pollution.

My grandfather was much the same way after he sold his jet. Some people aren't comfortable with someone else at the controls.

Sound like how I got most of my doodling practice, when I was attending class. I'd always be surprised that I'd just been drawing something.

Hmmmm, as long as you like murder mystery's, court shows, cop shows and endless live stage shows with mindless screaming teenage girls in the audience, you will have plenty to watch!!!!

Oh, and endless renovation shows, based in England. Or the three hundred and sixty five thousand pounds show, (that's all they seem to say)!

I don't watch TV almost at all, voluntarily, just when I go to different places that have TV's for different purposes (while waiting at the dentist, etc.).

However, I sometimes watch TV to laugh, and I usually get a pretty good laugh. I don't watch comedy shows or anything, because they are either vulgar or appeal to the dumb masses (you know, the kind of jokes that go like "Booochaaa", or another odd sounding, made-up word and everybody goes crazy, and I feel left out because I don't see the humor in it).

So, instead, I tune in whenever the initial shows of Romania's Got Talents or The X Factor begin, and laugh at the most performances, sometimes so hard that my abdomen (or belly, if you wish) hurts.

In the end, I want to confess that I tried to find a thread in which to post just a short, off-topic sentence only to see that 2013 time stamp on my post. With this occasion, I want to wish you all a Happy New Year, and all the cliches that come built-in, in which I don't have so much of an interest as I used to. But I do sincerely hope WF will continue to be the the great place it is now.
