They have to keep blocking IP addresses.

Anyone else having fun with something like this today???

Wow, usually when my clients start getting popular they change the file permissions so it errors out except for wp-admin so we can setup/change caching methods.

Happy to see they are helping when you are getting attacked though. Was it trying to exploit a hole or just trying to do a DOS to your site?

Nah, last light l found that Firefox had undated their browser and loaded it up without me knowing!

So, when l logged on last night, none of my automatic signin's would work?

SO, l had to load up a Norton update, which reduced my time left to 70 days instead of a good part of a year, and l had to reload the previous version, to fix that, then update a few times, or load the Norton patch to get over this!!!!

But after half an hour, it all works now, l may update my PC, since l know updating Norton can get over this, but today is 41digrees in AU, Vic, and it is too hot for this sort of crap!

I am currently in a nice cool Library, and will stay there, since the internet is good and l have a power outlet. Or l can hopefully find one, they seem to be turned off?

The joys of running an internet business!!!!

Soooo - maybe this is a clue why I am being tortured by both Chrome and FireFox for the past few days.

I uninstalled McAfee and installed Norton - which is free from Comcast and comes with some deal now called 'Constant Guard' which has Norton but alot of other CRAP that I think is confusing everything.

I have always had issues with FireFox and Chrome is just a bitch - not displaying graphics, hanging on every site. I am about ready to uninstall it and reinstall it so it will stop fighting with Norton - but knowing my luck it will make it worse. Plus all the saved passwords and etc will all have to be set up again.

I am sure it also has to do with Windows 7 - seems to complicate lots of things as anticipated (but not as bad as I feared)

Chrome (Google) is so intrusive now trying to link you to every ##%#$%@ thing - It creates a real mess for me because while it is my computer most of what I do is on my client's sites and applications so it would just confuse everything if I 'login to Chrome' and 'sync my sites' -

I am mad enough to kill an insect if I see one and his death will not be pretty.

Update: Insects are safe - it was Constant Guard that was messing everything up - I uninstalled it and Norton and Stopzilla (rootkitbuster 32 bit) and then just reinstalled Norton -

Chrome is working fine now. FireFox remains to be seen...

Not sure what you mean by under attack. My browser (Chrome) has been squirrely for the past couple of days though. Very touchy. I click the back button and half the time it jumps two, three pages back. Click the forward arrow and it might do the same thing. Ugh. Tried adjusting the mouse settings but that didn't help.
