In a few worlds, a lot of fun, (for adults as well as kids)!

Well worth seeing!

The first half hour you might get a little concearned about the storyline, but it improves considerably, as the story and impressive visuals unfold!

Could be one of the top films for 2013, (amongst others).

PS, stay til the end credits, Disney does put a little something onto the end!

PPS nightmare trying to find the original Wreck it Ralph video game, but l did find the Q Bert one! Arrrhhhh, memories!

I hate to tell you this but there wasn't an original Wreck-It Ralph game.
I had 23 full size arcade video games back in the day.
I didn't have Q-Bert,but my friend Willie did.

While there were many real video game references, most of the ones involved in the plot were made up.
It was a good movie though, for both kids and adults. We took two of my grand daughters to see it. We all enjoyed it,and I would actually consider getting it on dvd to have at home.

      Right that explains it!

I do remember a game similar to that involving a building, but maybe l am getting it mixed up with another one?

Yep, the sweet section was my favorite part, very clever go-cart designs!

Wreck it Ralph, is basically taking a video game, and showing you how it would look, if you owned a super parallel processor mainframe with a video game attached!

Or how home video games will look in the future, or when Quantum computers become mainstream!

      And a joystick of course!

Yep, l wouldn't mind that one on DVD, since l am a bit of a game addict!

      Shane :p

dang it! I didn't stay til the end!!
You didn't miss much, but it is probably worth staying for!

Or to put it another way, none of the characters, were there! I can't say any more without giving it away, but if you are seriously into arcade games it will make sense!

My wife and I went and watched it. We both liked it quite a bit.

The "OREO" part was probably my favorite.

Yeah, they used elements from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" quite a lot!

      Or "The Wizard of Oz"?

Looks great! And it raises the obvious question if successful, will Disney do some more?

Or do a remake of the wizard of Oz one! I suppose a dark version like "Alice in Wonderland" would work?

This is the closest game I remember that's even close to Wreck-Em Ralph.
    And that's stretching it.

Rampage was great, they had that in the arcade at a Max & Erma's restaurant in Indianapolis, the one at the Pyramids. That was the late 80s, early 90s, back when they still had the phones at the tables and you could call other tables to mess with them. You know, before society as a whole got so rude and offensive and belligerent that you couldn't possibly have something like that anymore.
