Do manufacturers actually read rewiews/discussions about their products and improve them based on the customer sensible suggestions?

          Manufacturers do respond to customer suggestions - but that doesn't mean they read blurb reviews online.

          They send out questionnaires to consumers who have purchased their products and some do on-site questionnaires. So they do listen to customers - but to "buyers" rather than "commenters".
