Free winzip wanted

Hi

Just got my computer back after having a virus, now need a free winzip one that is safe and will not down load lots of rubbish at the same time.

winzi, last I knew, and apparently now, is NOT free! 7zip is nice. ALSO:

Take my word for it Steve it is free.

You can download the trial and use it almost forever without upgrading it.

You can also download a free trial that has strings attached.

Pick the former.

The next to the last I picked had two timers. When they both ran out there was a delay. The last had the timers. When they ran out, it wouldn't continue.

Yes I have had the trial run out - but only 1 or 2 times in 9 years.

This is the first time I have used it on this computer. Actually haven't even used it yet - it has a lot of features it didn't have before but I couldn't tell you what they are. One of these days when I need to use it I will check it out.
