Piers morgan not doing well!

There WAS one guy he CLAIMED he would beat. Piers has about 590K viewers! OK, that SOUNDS like a lot. A "colleague" of his only gets almost TWICE that! A competitor that SHE hates ONLY gets about 2.2 as much as SHE does. And the guy he said he would someday beat? OH, he gets about 50% more as the last guy I mentioned. And NONE of these guys are even in the top three! I don't think they even make the top ten. But HEY, PIERS! Look at the bright side! You only have to increase your viewership by about 467% to JUST beat him! Maybe he'll find that easier at night. DOUBTFUL, but MAYBE. I wonder how many of the 590K just wanted to see the fire.

At an estimated $20m net worth, I'd say he's doing just fine...

I would take that money and just retire personally... I dont know though, work is passionate, its not all about money.

I liked him a lot better when he was a reality show judge - he's become quite pompous and stuffy.

    He cannot do it.

He's trying to target a specific population (class) and get them interested in the world around them , but the problem is they are more interested in watching the Simpsons.

O'Reilly probably has a more educated crowd who have a longer attention span.

590k seems very low for the US but it would many more globally.
In fact I'm suprised how US-centric these networks still are considering they air in most countries now.

There is a host here. His market is like 1/4 of ONE small state. He said piers has a little less than three times what he has! IMAGINE! If the guy I just told you about had an equivalent amount(as a percentage) in each of the 50 states, he would EASILY have over FOUR times the audience piers has!

Well, a US program stating global statistics to the US would only be BRAGGING rights. It wouldn't tell you about income or sales. GRANTED there may be a licensing fee or syndication fee, but that would be it. Would it mean anything to the average US competitor, customer, or advertiser? NOPE! And we ARE talking about content targeted at AMERICANS.

He's a doctor on tv that does a talk show about health. He's really easily bought off. He's pushing flu vaccines but doesn't vaccinate his own kids. He also spoke up against GMO food for a long time and wen Monsanto and other companies started spending those 10s of millions on their propaganda campaign against labeling he suddenly starts saying nothing's wrong with GMOs. So he was helping the pharms push vaccines on everyone - and his subject got desperately ill. LMAO.

It is interesting. A billion dollars sounds like a LOT!!!!!!!!

1913 dollar = perhaps 1(really it was LESS, but who is counting!)
          1 Billion =1 Billion

One site says 1Billion in 1913 in 2011 equals 44,625,469

          2011 dollar = .0446
          1 Billion =44.6 Million

Expected decline once the QEs are figured in is more than 1/2!

          1 Billion=22.3 Million

Inflation and all is likely to be BAD, and will lower it even MORE!

If monsanto has their way, food prices will go UP!

So what happens to all those bribes? They will be like improperly stored old wool coats. When the people pull them out, they may be WORTHLESS! IRONIC!

    BTW above values from:

    The Inflation Calculator

Interesting, huh? My 260K 4000sf home would cost $5,798 in 1913. And 260K is over 5 times the national average now! Apparently it was 1/3 of the average persons salary in 1913! Average Income in the United States (1913-2006) — Visualizing Economics

This shows the effects of inflation.
