Thanks Cal for the heads up. Yep, I feel this type of challenge really keep us motivated and push us to achieve our goals. Now we are left with less than 76 days... A good goal to aim for is to write at least 10 articles a week. I am pushing myself to aim for 2 EZA mugs by trying to register the challenge under 2 pen names.

Nice work Yuyuan! There are a lot of skeptical people that say that article marketing doesn't work. This shows all of those people how powerful article marketing really is! Keep up the good work! |

How much traffic has that generated for you? Do you have any analytics in place telling you how much of your traffic is coming from ezinearticles?

From the stats in Ezinearticles, the articles generated a total of 229,185 click through. I guess this can be further improved by writing more enticing author bio box.

Yuyuan, congratulation. 3 articles a day sounds really impressive. Can you (or anyone else who is as consistent and creative as Yuyuan) share a few tips to those of us who might feel like we will never get where you are now? Thanks and all the best to you!

I hate to write articles, although I am very good at writing. Most of my time is writing niche ebooks. What I do to promote my ebooks is to buy lots and lots of related PLR articles (check out the WSO offers) and hire others to rewrite them. Using pen names for tracking purposes with EzineArticles.com and other article directories, this has got to be the easiest and least expensive methods for promoting products. It is important to get articles out there consistently everyday. It could take weeks or even months to see results, but just keep at it. There are always good WSO offers for PLR articles, but you should always edit them and change the title.

Thanks for all the kind words warriors, appreciate it. It is not hard to write article consistently every day. What I do to make sure that I achieve the target is that every Monday, I will plan the topics and the number of articles that I am going to write for the whole week. Then, I will divide the number of articles equally by 6 days (Sunday will be my rest day). After which, I just need to put the plan into my timetable and stick to it. One common problem that many new article marketers face is that they don't know what to write about. They have the feeling that there is not enough information for them to write. Nothing is further than the truth. On the Internet, there are tons of information... you just need to do a little research every week. If you don't know what topic to write, you will have writer's block. So spend 1 or 2 hours on Monday to research and decide on the topics you are going to write. By doing so, writing articles will become easier and usually, you will take around 10 - 15 minutes to write a 250-400 words article. If you are new to writing articles, 3 articles a days may seem like a tough call. But when you get used to writing, the whole process just become easier. Just remember, always plan what you are going to write. Another tip is to follow a simple format to write an article. An article can be broken down into a few parts: 1) Title. Your title is the most important part of your article. It should be eye-catching. There are 2 types of Title that I always write: - Ask a question. For example: "Are You Struggling in your Marriage? Then You Can't Afford to Miss These 3 Tips to Save Your Marriage Today" - State the number of tips that you are giving in the title. For example: "5 Sure-Fire Ways to Bring Down Your Adwords Quality Score and Cut Your Advertising Cost by At Least 30%" 2) First Paragraph. Here, you will write a paragraph that addresses the problem that your target audience is facing. And tell them that you have solutions for them in this article. The paragraph should be 4-5 sentences long. 3) Bullet Points. This is where you will list down the solutions in point forms. Usually, I will write at least 5 bullet points. 4) Conclusion. Another paragraph to conclude the article. 5) Call-to-Action Statement. Lastly, I will include a call-to-action statement to entice people to click on the URL in my Author's Resource Box. A simple example is this: "For more tips to reduce your Adwords Quality Score, visit the website below now". By following this format, writing a 250-400 words article will be much easier. P.S. And you don't need to be a good writer to do well in article marketing |
