Jeffery, I am often berated for the exact same thing ,so much so my wife bought me some black socks. And my kids, that get on me cause I like to wear my socks above my ankles.They keep trying to get me the no show crap,cant stand 'em. In general, I get flak for my fashion choices, which if not for my wife and kids, would be board shorts, t shirts, and slaps ( flip flops to you non-floridians) or no shoes or shirt at all.

I live in track suit pants, t-shirts, wind cheaters and sandals (flip flops or whatever you others call them). In this hotter weather I wear shorts instead of the track suit pants of course.

Black skinny jeans with rose colored stitching, a light rose camisole underneath my dark rose colored sweater, pink socks with rose colored toes and heels covered by my pink fuzzy slippers.

Nah, I had to put those away a little over four years ago as the outlook got very bleak at that time.

My "go to" comfy outfit, which is athletic shoes (whatever felt fine on my feet and was on sale when I bought them), black socks, mom jeans and a sweatshirt. That's for winter. In summer, all I need to change in this outfit is a T-shirt instead of sweatshirt. I do change to white socks when I run out of clean black ones. Got fuzzy ones for winter and cotton for summer.

Haha, I'm guilty of wearing white socks with black shoes too. My white socks are so much more comfy! Luckily it's pretty warm here so I don't have to bundle up much.
