Boolean Search In Google

Hello Warriors

I have a question on using a particular search string in Google and I am uncertain how to phrase it.

I want the search results for 'chile' (an alternative spelling for the fiery pepper) but I want to exclude any result for the country Chile.

Any ideas on what I need to enter in Google's search box?

Thanks for any pointers

Dominic

I think you are referring to the word "chilli"

Webcosmo - problem is that there are 3 recognized alternative spellings for the same thing: chile, chili and chilli

This is the best query string I could come up with:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=%22c...er%22+-country

Try alternative spellings for 'chile' in the search string for other results.

You can add another keyword with chile n it like chile + fiery pepper + spices and the likes.
