And it acts like a brain according to some scientists:

Physicists Find Evidence That The Universe Is A 'Giant Brain'

This was also reported by the NY Times for people who freak out if the sources aren't the ones that THEY decide are good ones.

Back where I come from it's a molecule in a thumbnail. Used to be the favorite topic of conversation when us philosophy students would get together over a fattie and bottle of asti.

Sandra - infinite universes is the current thought - you figure out the size.

The thumbnail belongs to someone/thing sitting in the chair.
And, THAT someone/thing is living in molecule in a chairleg which exists in a molecule on a chairleg on which sits someone/thing containing a thumbnail in which is

"Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space."

Bigger than your mind could ever contemplate. It's like astroids the size of small village traveling at 15 times the speed of sound. Your mind just can't grasp anything so large traveling so fast, because here on earth you've never been exposed to any visual object that can travel so fast.

Let's put it this way. If you place a mirror behind you and a mirror in front of you and look over your shoulder in the mirror that's in front of you seeing the reflection of you doing so in the mirror behind you and then seeing you doing that in the mirror in front of you and then seeing all the repeating reflections there after till you no longer see reflections then I would say that Infinity is equal to being infinite......lol

The observable universe should be something around 180 yottameters in diameter which is, hold on, 180,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 meters.
