My son bought my wife and I tickets to see Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience. I knew that Jason had played with the remaining members of Led Zeppelin, but didn't know that he toured with his own band.

The show was last night, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The highlight for me was Moby Dick. They split the monitor screen with footage of Bonzo from the film The Song Remains the Same on one half, and Jason playing live on the other half. Jason was matching his dad beat for beat. It was brilliant.

I highly recommend the show to all Led Zeppelin fans.

I recently watched a video where he did that in a show. I agree - brilliant!

I would love to see that. The Who and Zep had the best drummers but Bonham can be proud to carry the name on.
Moon had no such luck of his own child, but he gave instruction to Ringo's son Zak,who has earned a place with the rest, imo.

Sadly, I didn't truly discover Led Zeppelin until the year that John Bonham died. I was the oldest kid in a poor and conservative family, so I just wasn't exposed to that kind of music much. Sure, I knew Stairway to Heaven and some of the more popular songs, but I didn't really know Led Zeppelin. That all changed early in my senior year of high school when I got baked out of my gourd and went to see The Song Remains The Same at the midnight movie. I was awestruck! 30+ years later I'm still listening to that same music over and over and over. It never gets old for me.
