The greed in this world that has proliferated thanks to leaders who think they own the world has gotten out of hand. Wipe out all money and start over.

It is amazing how the leaders of many smaller countries make much more than the US president e.g. Singpore pop. 53 million, pay of prime minister = US$1.7 million.

WOW! - And Singapore is just a big city-state that calls itself a country!
Pretty nice salary - he should change his title to CEO - (he does do a pretty nice job of keeping the place clean too)

In the US, LAPD officers, to start, last I knew, made about $40K a YEAR! Parking valets might make about $16K/year before tips. And the president makes about $400K/year.

Some IDIOTS are suggesting that the president is the head of the executive branch(true), and therefore equivalent to a CEO(*****FALSE*****) and thus should be paid millions since ALL CEOS are(FALSE in all cases). REAL CEOs have a risk, most risk capital, they don't get all the big perks, and can be paid commensurate with their success.

What do you mean by real CEOs? There are some CEOs who do not have initial capital in the company and are employed years after the company started, no?

Yeah, but even most of them probably have skin in the game.

True. But it is quite different for someone to risk their savings to start a company and someone given shares in a company upon joining their payroll.

But most have large stock amounts to begin with, and most "stock" is generally warrants with dates attached. So they may get 1000 warrants that say they can only be used after a given date, at a given price, and the stock may only be sold after a given period.
