For me, it's getting the chance to see all the gorgeous gals on the red carpet. Oh so fine!

Loved Jennifer Lawrence's 'recovery' and the Les Miserables cast singing. And Ang Lee, for best Director! & the Jaws theme for overlong speeches. Did you watch?

    The red carpet, some of the men, some of the shoes, the recognition accorded to talent and skills (and I hear some of the parties after the ceremony).

      I didn't watch it - but turned to it when changing channels and saw Lawrence's interview after - she is charming and a breath of fresh air.

    It's cool to see some of the most talented artists in the world acknowledged for their work. Daniel Day Lewis - it's crazy how the guy can transform himself into a completely different person. Seing Lincoln, then seeing There Will Be Blood... You start to notice how talented the guy is.
