Warrior Forum taking money from my paypal.

Don't know if this is the right place to post, but Warrior Forum have been taking money out of my bank account.

I paid them the $10.00 fee a few days ago and that cleared fine, but today I check to see they tried on a few occasions to take 69p out of my bank account, and $6.69 from my account. I've no idea what this is for, but the transaction failed and now my PayPal account is in arrears.

Anyone know why they've been taking money, aside from the one time payment of $10.
There is also a transaction on there from Legit Sells, a guy I bought an ebook off (And paid, in full) why are they still taking money?

Looks to me like there's a fee for converting the currency - does not appear Warrior Forum has anything to do with it, but PayPal. It looks like the free was attempted but continued to fail due to no funds.

You can take this matter up with WF support, but since l have a PayPal account as well, this seems perfectly above board!

PayPal isn't logical and it's easy to get the wrong impression by it!

So l have done transactions with it going through, but getting a nasty message later on it didn't, or l didn't have enough in my savings account so it spit the dummy and went for the backup Credit Card account instead!

Best guess the 62p, is for processing the CC or trying to, and the 6.69pounds is the $10USD.

I would check your CC, and make sure it hasn't gone over it's limit, and then look for email transactions showing that the $10 USD has gone through.

Since you are posting here, and the $10 was to join the WF, then WF may have allowed it to go through and are currently trying to get payment?

This is just educated guess work, so it's best to sort this out asap, Warrior Forum is a great resource, so it's a good idea to transfer enough into your savings, etc.

PayPal is a great shopping cart, but it can be a bit of a puzzle, so best to contact your Bank when they open, and also check for receipts.

£6.69 (Pounds Sterling - not Dollars), which is the equivalent conversion of $10.00 (The WF fee) was attempted to be withdrawn from your bank account (which failed), then your backup funding source (your credit card) failed and thus your account was sent £7.31 into the red. (Transaction amount + Transaction Fee).

In a nutshell, you were charged the $10 (£6.69 in Sterling) once.

"Failed" and "Refused" are shown in your screenshots for the transactions you claim to have taken place.

You just didn't have available funding sources.

      [sigh]

It would behoove you to actually think about this stuff before posting what amount to accusations.

The mechanics of the transactions have already been explained above. Let me just add that you probably shouldn't buy anything here (or anywhere else online) until you've figured out how this works.

To add to what paul said, it would also be a good idea to make sure your account at least has enough money in it. In times like this, I would suggest over 160% of the current echange rate to cover the charge and any fees. It certainly doesn't look good. If this happens when paying a B&M bill or something, you could really have a hard time. I hope you simply used a dormant account for the bank account, and the debit card as a credit card. If not, you obviously have some other things to work out.
