Yep, l should be able to put something like this up soon, (have a great selling product, just need to sort out how to scale up) but l will do it at a 5 star hotel, preferably looking over the ocean, between the palm trees, sipping on a cocktail!!!! Sigh! :p

The IM lifestyle is great when you have done the hard yards and are getting close to the finish line!

Stay encouraged, and put that training to good use, two years in a call center is like an 8 year degree in sales college. You can succeed with nothing else but that knowledge alone, "if" you let it work for you.

Hell yeah! I'm happy WITH you!

It was a customer support line, where I had to solve their issues, explain bills, services and everything you can imagine. I had to cross sell various valued services like mobile internet, SMS packages and whatnot. I remember, when I first started it (it was like kinda mind first real job) I was struggling, it's really an exhausting job, so guys, if you EVER have to speak to a CC operator, be patient, there is a lot they have to handle, the pressure is huge for a pittance wage yeah. In 2 years I picked up about 15k calls. That's a LOT.

And than I was working directly in the sales business for the same company at a shop, where I met actual customers and I beleive I have good sales skills.

The only con, it was all in hungarian, but I understand the psychological part of selling, no matter what language. But thanks to the internet and blabbling about IM on forums, making blogs and working my way up on the ladder put me in a position where I always wanted to be someday. And yeah, I'll keep climbing!

And an interesting info to all of you; an average salary here, is about $440 USD. I've been making ~$660 with the CC job back than on a monthly basis AND it is a GREAT salary for many people, hell...
