On the heels of a report that China's military has for years been engaging in cyberespionage against the U.S., China's Ministry of Defense claimed that a pair of military websites were attacked more than 100,000 times per month in 2012 -- and that more than 60 percent of the attacks originated in the U.S.

Extreme technology knowledge allows for a whole new breed of warfare - one that does not depend on governments. Groups tantamount to "Anonymous" are out there - but most keep their purposes and existence more cloaked. About what we can hope is that the groups are more interested in people having freedom than in dominating them. Considering that almost everything we depend on to survive is now run by computers, it is a happy and hopeful thought that the leading technology savants are on OUR side.

Hard to believe that anyone thinks the US (and others) don't do exactly the same thing they complain about the Chinese doing.

Every country does it... even very small ones.
