After their Star Faded (music thread)

This thread is for songs you like that were put out after a band's star has faded, so to speak. The bands may have broken up and gotten back together and never recaptured the spotlight, or maybe they never broke up but the spotlight just turned in another direction.

Here are a few to get things going...

Foghat from Return of the Boogie Men

Lynyrd Skynyrd from The Last Rebel

John Kay (Steppenwolf) from Heretics and Privateers

I always thought OASIS lost their magic after Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory.

Bravo, do you have a good song they put out after they lost their magic? That's what I was after.

Frank, good additions. There's no mistaking Ian Anderson's voice is there?

Kim, I almost posted To Be Alive, it's one of my favorite Kay songs. You probably know this, but not everyone will, so for the benefit of anyone interested, the song you posted is on the same album as the song I posted, but it's a different version.

All the New World Order believers would probably like The Endless Commercial off the same Heretics and Privateers album.

Forgotten Songs And Unsung Heros doesn't have a bad song on it,imo.
The second solo Album I got, My Sportin' Life, wasn't quite as good as that one,but it still was damn good.
This is off the second album.

So that blind people can hate them as well.

Travlinguy - That's one of my favorite Yes songs. It's got some great guitar riffs. Very short, but I turn up the music to hear them better almost every time.

Ah yes Kurt...there's always room for a legend in a thread like this. I hadn't heard this song before, so thanks. Odd little tune, but curiously appealing.

Earth Blues - Jimi Hendrix - From the album People, Hell and Angels, which will be released in a few days. This album was intended to be the follow up to Electric Lady Land and has Billy Cox and Buddy Miles in the band. Hard to believe Jimi's been dead for over 43 years and is coming out with yet another posthumous "new" album.

Good songs all 3 of you.
Fogerty certainly was a comeback....didn't he have to sue himself to play his own songs at one time? I know he got sued for plagerizing himself.

Yes was certainly off my radar when that song came out. Think it was one of their better ones too.

Never heard that Les Paul song before either.

here is one I think fits in, never was a fan when hit music was big,bet this song grew on me when it was released after his initial fame:

@ Kurt - I'm an Alvin Lee fan, but it's a shame the sound quality isn't better on that video. But Hendrix! I didn't know any songs were available yet. Sounds as good as ever. I'm not sure his star ever faded, but I reckon a new album coming out long after you've passed away is good enough.

@ Kim - I'm not much of an Ant fan either, but that's not a bad song.

Here are a couple from Little Feat off the Rooster Rag album. It was released in 2012, something like 9 years after their previous album of new material.
