Hey guys,

I have finally decided to take the plunge into internet marketing and start an online business The problem I am running into is the niche I have chosen (investing) doesn't have any quality products. Everything I come across on click bank is either about binary options, penny stocks, or a signal service. The last two are more viable than binary options as I don't feel comfortable with binary options because I believe they are rigged. Penny stocks could be nice niche, but I still feel there is some hocus pocus going on and my ultimate goal is to build an advisory service, so building a list using the existing advisory/signal services seems kind of counter productive. As of right now I am feeling the only option is for me to create a quality product and promote that, but at that point would it make sense to just run the advisory service? Thanks in advance for help, I have learned a lot from you guys in the past.

Make an info product - you'll make your money with less time input. Clients of advisory services can be extremely time consuming and demanding. I mean, if you have the temperament for it, that's kewl, but a book allows you to tell the same people the same thing without having to continually repeat yourself - and leaves room for volume 2 if you keep getting a lot of the same questions surfacing.

Just my 2 cents. When it comes to IM, consider what I say but don't put much weight on it until others agree with me. I'm a writer but not an IM expert.

If you're making an info-product on investing, you'll need to run it past a lawyer with some experience in the field. It'll need to be filled with all sorts of disclaimers to cover your @rse.

As for there being no products available in that niche, are you kidding?!?!?!

There are a ton of books, services, etc., out there by RECOGNISED EXPERTS in the field, so unless you already have a name for yourself, you're just another Joe Blow trying to compete against some VERY BIG players.

See - I told you a marketer would probably disagree with me. They know how to do stuff the easy way. I just write my own stuff. Somebody has to, I guess.

I didn't mean there are no products. I do know and am a part of some services/advisories in the investment field as part of my investing research. What I was trying to say is shouldn't I not promote an advisory if I am going to be starting my own? I would be fighting an up hill battle pulling them away from a service I told them was good and that they may be happy with to come "try" mine. Aside from advisorys, the only things I am seeing on clickbank are penny stocks and binary options which I don't feel are good investment vehicles.

There are some products on options investing that teach trading options, but wouldn't that also kill off my advisory investors in the options category as they wouldn't need my service because my list now only has people that were interested in learning options trading and not having the research and setup done for them?

HeySal I definitely agree with you on the info product side of things and that is going to be a portion of my business, but the advisory would bring in large payments that would equate to steady cash flow for my internet business. Once a subscriber is in, all I have to do is keep them happy and deliver on what I promise and they will continue to bring income for my business until they decide to trade on their own or stop wanting to make money
