What is the cure for diabetes?

It depends on what kind of diabetes. Adult-onset diabetes has been known to be cured by dietary changes. Cinnamon and coffee reputedly help.

I regard myself as an expert on this topic for a number of reasons.
    1. I am a type 2 diabetic myself so I personally have experienced a LOT of problems.
    2. My first writing client is still with me and so far I have written almost 600 articles about diabetes and related topics.
    3. I have also written 2 ebooks for the same client about my personal experiences.

I can tell you categorically that right now there is NO CURE for diabetes.
However, you can certainly be in remission for a long time if you're careful and get the right treatment.

You can also prevent getting diabetes if you get regular blood tests and see your doctor with any problems that come up.

I am happy to answer questions in here, in pm or via email but that is my background.

I agree Cinnamon works very well on my relative. Drinking it in warm water in the morning and at 4pm plus a good balanced diet/exercise has helped my relative.

I love cinnamon on my porridge for breakfast. It's good on some cakes and a few other foods as well.

"Diabetes" isn't really a diagnosis, per se. There are several (very) different kinds.

For "true diabetes" as I imagine you mean it, there isn't yet a reliable cure, I think. Both pancreatic Langerhans-cell transplantation and gene therapy can be genuinely "curative" of some kinds - I think - but neither is yet readily available.

Yeah, alexa is right. It ISN'T diabetes. it is diabetes mellitus. Apparently, the ONLY thing diabetes has in common is the thirst for water, and urinating. It has NOTHING to do with blood sugar until you mention mellitus.

Apparently there ARE drugs to help diabetes insipidus, IIRC. For mellitus, some people could NEVER be helped outside of insulin. OTHERS may benefit from things that increase sensitivity, etc... Chromium and cinnamon are supposed to be very good. But they are NOT a cure. Some HAVE reduced or eliminated drugs with them though.

But HEY, computers are getting rather rare! Fewer and fewer companies are using them! I have only had a few clients that seemed to use any. And I haven't used one for several years! Even FLOPPIES! I haven't used a floppy for like 32 years! That's about when THEY died out. That will sound odd to most since they are so use to callin a minifloppy, or a microfloppy, a floppy, and a microcomputer a computer.
