So, has anyone listened to the latest Hendrix release yet?

I have to say, I am a little exited. There's nothing on Youtube yet.
Here's what Eddie Cramer has to say:

I haven't listened to it yet, but I doubt I will discover anything new. Usually, new Hendrix releases are re-packaged studio cuts that I've heard before. Hope I'm wrong.

That was a mighty tasty sample he offered.

It is indeed a tasty sample. But this was released already, on the Crash Landing album, I believe.

I was a major Hendrix fan back in the day. After his death there was so much bootleg crap floating around I just sort of stuck with his vintage material. My favorite is his second album, Axis - Bold As Love. Such an amazing recording for 1967. (released in early 1968)

The sample in that video is new to me. It sounds like solid studio work. It was great to hear. Maybe reawaken my interest in Jimi... Yeah!

    Kah- ILLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got somethin else for you Bravo, while you are waiting for the release:

Here is Eddie Van Halen practicing in his garage as a teenager in 1974:

    That was boring right?

Now here he is ten years later practicing alone, trying out the different presets on his Eventide harmonizor... man this is freakin awesome, way better than hearing him play with the band. He is full blown into his style by this one.

Sorry about embedding guys, tried both ways, as you can see (with and without "s")

The second one is awesome. Eddie in his natural environment practicing alone. This is how he sees the guitar.

I dont know why his sound was rarely this good in live concerts as it is when he is recording alone in headphones.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.
